"The Barns"

These pictures were taken in and around the barn in which "The Loft" gatherings took place, (except for the last picture of the white barn). The farm manager gave my friend the o.k. to take me down to see it. I also got to see Gary's airplane, but won't be posting a picture of it.

There are many animals on the farm of coarse, since it is a "working" farm. Here are just a few cows and horses. You can see just how beautiful the land is! The cows are behind the red barn, and the horses are out to the right of the road.

This is a little story that once again proves just how sweet Amy is!

My friend Brian introduced me to Amy, who said "Hi, nice to meet you! How are you doing tonight?" I think I said something about being cold. Then Amy touched my arm and said "You should have worn something warmer!...Do you want to borrow one of my coats?" Tracy and Cathy, who were also there said they were cold too (poor Tracy was wearing shorts and was turning into an ice cube), so Amy went into the house and got coats for all of us! We of coarse returned them before we left. :)

Unfortunately, the 12+ pictures I took during the music portion of the event did NOT come out well. Much too dark and a bit too far back, and fuzzy! I wasn't going to put any of them up, but it didn't seem right. So, here are two to look at, but I warn you...they're not great!

Finally, I got to meet Amy Grant. I can honestly say she is everything I knew she would be! And if you think she is gorgeous in pictures or TV, you should see her in person!

It was really nice to finally meet some of my Internet friends! Some I have been Emailing for over a year, and others are now new friends. Right before we left, Amy agreed to pose with the whole Internet group!
