The first offer by the Mercurius Tape Series introduces the archetypes
of the
Persona, Shadow, Self, the Anima/Animus syzygy and their roles in the
psyche.
Also explored are dreams' object and subject levels, the compensation
and
complementation polarity, thematic structure and a variety of dream
types. This
is an excellent instructive tape which will help you begin to create
clearer pathways
of communication and relationship between your conscious and unconscious
self.
Each of the seven alchemical
transformations or stages, the coniunctio, calcinatio,
solutio, coagulatio, sublimatio, separatio and mortificatio, reflect
psychological
processes of change and development that can be detected in dreams.
Each 60
minute tape explores how each alchemical stage can be associated to any
number
of common life-circumstances, such as relationships, career, creativity,
health,
etc. Moreover, the dream events which reflect that stage will
demonstrate what is and
is not possible to realize in terms of those life-circumstances.
In other words, if
the unconscious says something is not possible nor ready to materialize,
then it
simply won't come to fruition or become a reality. But the work in
dream work is to
consciously go through the process on your way toward your own
successes. This
tape series will demonstrate how this has been done using example dreams
from
my client files. You will be more comfortable applying this
knowledge to your own
dream work. This series is tailored specifically toward this end;
it directly supports
the purpose of the Dream Workbook: a creative and productive
relationship to

However, the astrology which corresponds to each stage is viewed through

and failures inherent in that stage, in terms of the dream imagery

The Coniunctio 60 minutes

We are all trying in our own ways to "bring something
together"--whether that's a
project, a relationship, a lifestyle, a professional success
story--whatever. The
success of the coniunctio, to bring those two or more diverse elements
together
in ourselves, would reflect our own successes or fulfillment in our
outer lives.
Dream imagery, relative to the coniunctio, will demonstrate both
successes and failures
in terms of normal life-circumstances or contexts. Natal

planets in that horoscope are analyzed to illustrate the astrological
themes through
which the person passed in their attempts to realize the intent of the
alchemical
coniunctio: union.
Calcinatio 60 minutes $7.95
The element is "fire" and is one of the more difficult testing
grounds that we
experience in acts of life and living. The often feared mythic
dragon lives in this
domain and we invoke its nature, for either productive or destructive
ends,
whenever we take our chances with our time, energy or capacities toward
a
desired goal. Dream imagery, relative to calcinatio, will help you
to recognize how
this element can be (and has been) managed so that we neither "burn
up" nor
squelch the life-giving energy of this fundamental element in our
natures.
Natal horoscopes and transits will be analyzed to illustrate the
astrological
themes through which the person has passed in their attempts to manage
their own
personal allotment of the inner fire or life-force.
Solutio 60 minutes $7.95
The element is "water" and represents the process whereby
fixed or static parts
of our personalities are dissolved or reduced to their basic, and often
unrecognizable, form before they are reconstructed into new and more
favorable forms.
Life-experiences which involve sex, Eros, healing, grace, salvation,
dismemberment,
loss and rejuvenation all fall under the domain of solutio.
Dream imagery, relative to solutio, will help you to recognize how this
element can be
(and has been) managed so that we can allow this process to happen with
a minimum
of resistance. Natal horoscopes and transits will be analyzed to
illustrate the
astrological themes through which the person has passed in their
attempts to
allow the death and rebirth process to unfold in its own way and in its
own time.
Coagulatio 60 minutes $7.95
The element is "earth" and represents how we maintain our
current responsibilities,
physical selves, values and desire nature while also mobilizing our
capacities to
"ground" and make real what could be new, and sometimes
competing, responsibilities
and desires. Dream imagery, relative to coagulatio, will help you
to recognize how this
element can be (and has been) managed so that we can apply ourselves to
this process
in the face of our own limitations, "shadow" selves,
negativity's or even evil tendencies.

stage is that we
can simply lose touch with others, our lives, our bodies, our feelings,

engaged in life and living, while also being open to inspiration and to
new
possibilities for self-expression and creative fulfillment. Natal

Our capacity to distinguish between subject and object, ourselves and
others,
constructive and destructive tendencies in ourselves and others,
symbolic and
literal meaning, clear perception verses self-delusion is defined
through the
process of separatio. Dream imagery, relative to separatio, will
help you to
perceive and recognize the value of polarity, contrast and opposites,
each of
which assist in the development of individuality through discrimination,
judgment,
and finally, choice-making--however difficult, painful or enlightening
such choices
may be. Natal horoscopes and transits will be analyzed to
illustrate the astrological
themes through which the person has passed when confronted by pivotal
life choices.
Mortificatio 60 minutes $7.95
In many instances, choice (whether we make it, others make it, or when
it's made
by life itself) heralds the unpleasant stage of mortificatio or death.
Depression,
defeat, blackness, loneliness, pathless wandering and meaninglessness
may
come before or after solutio. But in either case, rejuvenation and
rebirth will follow.
Dream imagery, relative to mortificatio, will help you to recognize what
in fact is
either meant to die, is dying or will be dying on a literal or symbolic
level.
Themes of rebirth will also be identified. Natal horoscopes and

to illustrate the astrological themes through which the person has
passed when
themes and images of mortificatio have arisen.
